Justin’s leatherworking journey took roots from his personal necessity to repair time- and strength-tested cowboy gear for his own ranch operations. It grew into innovative ways to improve upon traditional designs and flourished with creative and beautiful customization of products that they used daily to provide for their family on the ranch. Long-since a hobby, Justin has been sharing his talents with others in the cowboy community since 2008. His passion to provide others with the same level of quality that he requires afforded him the opportunity to pursue leatherworking full-time in 2014 - and involve his family in growing the business. Each piece they produce is branded with their family’s name, a proud demarcation of the values their family upholds, both personally and professionally.

Passing along his knowledge and experience, Justin, Brooke and their children advocate for the tradition of skilled trades and legacy of the American art of leather crafting. The 2021 introduction of their Cushing, Oklahoma storefront invites customers from all walks of life into their actual workshop. From the rich smell of leather when you walk through the door, to the warm cup of pinion wood roasted coffee and smiles they share with you while you shop, Cargill Custom Leather offers customers a unique shopping experience full of culture, tradition and creativity.
